Position: Citrix Engineer – L3
Location: St Louis, MO
Duration: Long term

 

Description:

• 6-8 Years of Experience
• Basic Windows knowledge
• Citrix Installation on new servers along with IQ/OQ Process
• New application publishing and managing existing applications
• Coordinating with Operating Company to upgrade applications or move applications to new citrix servers which include creating CRQ, installing prerequisites, application testing on new servers
• Troubleshooting all Citrix related issues
• Citrix application uninstall or force uninstall from the Citrix servers
• Handling daily citrix related incident and service requests
• Citrix printer management
• Citrix secure gateway management

 

Roles & Activities:

Citrix Server Management. Supplier's responsibilities with respect to the Buyer's Citrix server include:
(a) Installing, upgrading and configuring the Citrix Metaframe servers (on new Windows servers);
(b) Installing Citrix hotfixes;
(c) Gathering Software and Machines inventory (e.g., Citrix, Altiris);
(d) Creating and managing Authorized User access to Citrix and application user groups;
(e) Creating and managing Citrix sessions and changing connection settings;
(f) Rebooting Citrix server;
(g) Responding to requests to check permissions on directories or membership of groups (e.g., from Afrax);
(h) Resolving logon or connection problems (e.g., re-installing ICA client);
(i) Resolving hanging Citrix sessions;
(j) Investigating Citrix performance issues;
(k) Decommissioning the Citrix server;
(l) Configuring and managing Citrix forms;
(m) Configuring and managing Citrix applications;
(n) Performing printer management (e.g., creating printer or installing printer);
(o) Defining and setting Authorized User access to the Citrix management console; and
(p) Managing Nfuse console.
