Position: Senior Programmer/Analyst

Location: Lyndhurst, NJ

Duration: 4 Months

 

Description:

 

·         Senior Programmer/Analyst to upgrade current version of Business Objects, BO XI R2, to the latest version available.

·         The candidate must have MULTIPLE UPGRADE EXPERIENCE, excellent knowledge with Business Objects.

·         Good technical and functional knowledge of various applications including PeopleSoft because the BO environment runs reports from a PS HR environment.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to manage time efficiently, good social skills and resourcefulness.

·         HTML DB experience is a plus.

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·         Good knowledge of program documentation skills.

·         Good Knowledge of Oracle DB.

·         BO Certified is preferred

 

Other details:

 

·         Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.

·         May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.

·         Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

·         Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

·         Performs a variety of tasks.

·         May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.

·         Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
