Required Skills:

  • "Unix System Engineer needed for project to consolidate and automate UNIX user administration processes.
  • This is a technical position that requires in depth knowledge of UNIX internals and the ability to perform complex system analysis in a large computing environment.
  • Strong Unix security knowledge required. Experience building UNIX to UNIX for file sharing required.
  • Experience connecting UNIX to Active Directory for user administration preferred (using tools like Centrify or Likewise).
  • This position also requires the ability to write and maintain scripts that gather and summarize data and automate routine UNIX security tasks.
  • Perl scripting proficiency required. Qualified candidates will demonstrate excellent communication and reporting skills and be able to effectively work at within a cross functional team made up of security, UNIX and project team personnel.
  • Strong UNIX background, Security, Scripting and task automation experience. Experience with Active Directory is a MUST and Access Management is desired."
