Position: Sr. Python  Developer

Location: San Antonio, TX

Duration: 6 Months+

 

Required Skills:

 

-    Experience in Python (2.7.x and 3.x)

-    Understanding and expertise in the following:

-    Module system: ability to write modules, using distutils

-    Higher order programming, functional programming, iterators, generators

-    REST API's – development and consumption

-    Web frameworks: Pyramid, Django, and Flask/Bottle

-    Asynchronous frameworks such as Twisted, gevent/eventlet

-    Good understanding of HTTP protocol

-    Text manipulation: XML, XSD, XSLT, YAML etc

-    Database technologies in Python: SQLRecord, SQLAlchemy

-    Good understanding of Linux

-    Ability to interface with Linux using Python
