Position           : SAP Basis Manager

Location           : NYC, NY

Duration           : 6 Months +

 

Client wants a project manager who has implemented SAP BASIS and not a SAP BASIS administrator. The person should have managed at least one project like SAP Basis Upgrade from  start to end. He/she should be experienced in forming project plan, driving technical teams for implementations/upgrades, generate periodical reports and provide project status updates to management. In short, the requirement is for SAP Basis Manager. 

 

Description:

 

·         Work at client location at New York

·         Work 8 x 5 in office. Available for weekend SAP implementations when happen.

·         Troubleshoot issues in SAP Basis, Java, ABAP

·         Support issues on Operating System, Database

·         Perform SAP Upgrades and SSO,SLD,EHP installs

·         Develop plan for upgrades with proper Risk, Dependencies and Target dates

·         Drive proactive SAP System health and implement required changes to keep SAP upto date to avoid any security threats

·         Perform analysis and provide periodical recommendations to keep SAP system in good health

·         Provide periodical report on support status and project progress on weekly and monthly basis

·         Coordinate with Offshore SAP Team
