This is Upender working with Systel Inc, My mail is regarding a job opportunity with one of our client @ Almeda, CA  for a 6  months contract. Below is the job description please go through it and let me know and let me know any local consultants available with you.

 

Position: Software Architect

Location: Almeda, CA

Duration: 6 Months +

 

Required Skills :

 

·         Candidate with over 12 years of technical experience in architecting enterprise systems / applications (client-server / Desktop) that uses Microsoft/QT technologies.

·         Designing: Architecting and designing enterprise client-server/Desktop application using Microsoft, QT tools and technologies, etc. Strong command in Design patterns.

·         Tools exposure: Microsoft Tools list Visual Studio 2010, MS SQL 2008, Master data services, MS performance monitoring, Security tools, etc.

·         Requirement analysis and Use case writing using standard UML tools

·         Strong C++, VC++ and other object oriented programming languages experience.

·         QT framework working experience

·         Strong coding skills with high quality deliverables

·         Experience in developing application that communicates with external devices connected through Ethernet or USB or RS 232 or Serial or COM port.

·         BS in Comp. Science from a good school.

 

Must Have

 

·         Highly technical, subject matter expert on architecture and show complete accountability.

·         Demonstrated ability to ensure product quality is built in before product release.

·         Recommend & Deploy performance improvement techniques.

 

Nice to Have

 

·         Medical device domain experience

·         Environment setup consultation experience: Usage of Virtual Machines, installation, deployment & upgrades of enterprise applications, Networking [basic configuration of client-server systems, etc.], IIS configuration, etc.
