Position: QA Test Lead

Location: Rosemont, IL

Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills:

 

•             Strong experience in both manual testing and test automation using QTP.

•             Test Lead acts as a liaison between development, business, and testing teams.

•             Manage Technical Testing services teams (both manual testing and test automation) with resources located onsite and offshore.

•             Create Test Plan/Strategy, Test Project Plan (using MS-Project), define Test Scenarios and Objectives, develop test cases, setup Test Lab for execution based on Business Priorities.

•             Define / Review Automation Strategy and implement process to improve productivity and quality deliverables.

•             Attend the knowledge transfer sessions and transition the same to the team members.

•             Perform the Requirements Ambiguity Testing.

•             Review all artifacts such as test scenarios, test cases, traceability matrix developed by the team and provide inputs.

•             Responsible for getting all the testing deliverables reviewed by the stakeholders.

•             Define Automation Strategy; guide the Automation team throughout design, development and executions phases.

•             Define and implement the Defect Management Strategy.

•             Involve in Functional, Regression, End-to-End, Exploratory, and UAT testing.

•             Represent the Test Team in Defect Triage Meetings and Scrum Meetings.

•             Provide Daily, Weekly and Phase-end status reports to all stakeholders.

•             Create Project Test Closure & Defect analysis Document and present them to the stakeholders.

•             Recognized industry certification in the areas of testing/technology will be a major plus.
