Required Skills:

  • Candidates should be able to lead a team of onshore/offshore resources and have the skills below:
  • Strong AIX skills with NIM, migration, patching , trouble shooting in AIX. You should be looking at IBM global services or professional services.
  • Someone who worked in an offshore / onshore modeled environment.
  • This individual should have strong communication skills and is used to on-call.
  • Unix (AIX, Linux/Solaris) System Administration
  • Scripting, Troubleshooting, Logical Volume Management, Performance monitoring, System Installation and Configuration, Hardware Management, Enhancement etc.
  • The individual should have the leadership skills along with necessary technical knowledge as well.
  • Unix Internals/Web sphere/LDAP AIX/Linux and Middle Wares.
  • Good team player and communication skills, client interaction
  • Database knowledge – Oracle, EMC Storage.
  • Leadership skills are mandate.
