Job Description:

• Support and maintain Linux servers, including evening and weekend work
• Participate in developing strategies to maximize the 24/7/365 availability of critical online information systems
• Provide direction, assistance, cross-training and troubleshooting insights to co-workers
• Capacity planning, system design, planning and implementation
• Hardware, OS, network and application level troubleshooting
• System and network-level performance monitoring/tuning
• Responsible for server deployments, which include application binaries, operating system updates and security patches
• Prepare and implement proper procedures and service level agreements to ensure optimum system integrity and data availability
• Apache and Websphere experience is a big plus
