Title: Datawarehousing Business System Analyst // Teradata

Location: San Jose,CA

Required Skills:

• The Business Systems Analysts should have 7-10 years of experience directly working with business teams on multiple projects in Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence Projects
• Should have 5 years of experience  in Data Warehousing& Business Intelligence Projects
• Strong experience documenting Business Requirements driving discussions with senior business leads and soliciting requirements.
• Should have worked as Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence (DW & BI) BSA in the past 2 years.  Any other BSA would not be considered.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal direction from the manager
• Should have extreme sense of urgency and drive to move things very fast when things are not moving or ambiguous
• Strong technology experience working with ETL, data modeling and other teams to help translate the business requirements to technical requirements and review their work if required
• Should have at least 5 years of hands on experience working on any RDMS
• A minimum of 2 years of hands on experience on Teradata platform is a MUST. Should be able to easily write complex queries at short notice for extracting data and/ or generation of reports as per ad-hoc needs of the business
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Constantly keep the management appraised of progress, issues, risks
• Should be highly pro-active in following up on tasks, dates and making them happen
• Should be flexible to work in a global environment having meetings with APAC, EUROPE and other geographies, if there is a need (about 10% of the time)
• Experience working in an environment with massive volumes of data is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus but not a prerequisite
