Position: Junior/MidlevelWindows Administrator(3-5 Years Exp)

Location Mooresville, NC

Duration: 1 Year 

 

Description & Required Skills :

 

- 5 years' experience with Administration, Installation and Support of Windows 2003/2008 and Active Directory in a large enterprise environment.

- Experience with installing Security Patches/Service Packs for Windows 2003/2008 Server.

- Experience in managing Microsoft DNS/ DHCP.

- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and determine own priorities working with IT related projects.

- Minimum 3 yrs experience with Virtualization & Consolidation with VMware ESX/Vsphere.

- Good Client Facing Professional Demeanor.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Server and associated client components including IIS & FTP, Security and group policies

- Storage Technologies including NAS (NetApp) and EMC SAN

- Backup Administration

- HPProLiant server hardware

- Familiarity with system management tools such as Microsoft Operations Manager, VERITAS NetBackup & Storage Foundation, VMware Virtual Center, VMware vCenter Configuration Manager

- Familiarity with server virtualization products, specifically VMware ESX servers

- Scripting (e.g. Powershell)

 

Scope and Additional Information:

 

- Will be involved with doing P2V work a lot.
