Role: Senior Business Analyst
Position: Contract or Full time
Location: Dallas - TX, Bay Area - CA, Middletown - NJ.
Rate / Salary: Open

 

 Experience: Minimum 8 – 10 Years of Experience
The Business Analysts will focus on online business transformation projects that will support a multi-channel web strategy. This person will be expected to possess functional knowledge of eCommerce systems (particularly portal, content and site management tools), have experience defining and documenting business processes and system requirements

 

 
Roles & Responsibility:
Gather, analyze, translate and document detailed business/functional/user requirements
Create documentation and user requirements/project documents including Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Site Maps, and test cases related to internet solutions.
Works with the client to agree and document detailed design and acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional requirements and for project deliverables
Supports development teams by providing clarifications to requirements and design
Analyze client web applications, user processes, consumer processes, and business processes.
Monitor system implementation and user satisfaction. Responsible for issue awareness and resolution.
Investigate options to solve business problems and meet business needs.
Support the development of training and implementation material, participate in implementation, post-implementation support.

 

Required Skills: (MUST possess these required skills to be considered)
Previous experience as a Business Analyst on major E-Commerce transformation projects either at a Consultancy or End Customer
Deep understanding of  Telecom domain & proven experience in successfully leading requirement elicitation workshops
Proven capability of interfacing with clients, managing their demands and expectations and challenging appropriately to truly understand the business need and requirements
Significant experience in creating requirements specifications, process models and business rules for eCommerce solutions
Knowledge of the Scrum development process ( Agile)

 

 
Experience of design & implementation of market leading packages in the following functional areas:
Commerce (Oracle ATG, hybris, IBM WebSphere Commerce Server or similar)
Search & merchandising (Oracle Endeca, Fredhopper or similar)
Content management (Adobe CQ, Interwoven Teamsite, OpenText ECM, Oracle WebCenter or similar)
