Role: Cloud Architect

Position: Senior Technical Consultant

Location: Dallas, TX

Grade: TG4

Prior Experience in IT field: 12-15 years

 

Role:

·         To Provide Technical Solution in areas of data centre migration, data centre consolidation, Cloud computing, data centre build, automation in tools and task covering all IT infrastructure technologies involving, Servers, Network, Storage, OS, Databases, Tools and IT Security.

·         To provide consultancy to customers in the area of application migration, IT Infrastructure migration to meet the cloud computing environment

·         To Provide Consultancy in the area of tools for metering, cataloguing, monitoring IT cloud infrastructure.

·         Should be able to guide implementation of Monitoring & Management tools in conformance with ITIL V3 standards.

·         Should be able to lead Data Centre Transition and Transformation projects with the use Project & Program management expertise.

·         To lead the Technical Team in deriving cloud solutions from Statement of requirement in RFPs.

·         To participate actively in presales on need basis where technical engagements become necessary.

Technical Skills Required:

·         Functional knowledge on Data Centre IT infrastructure

·         Knowledge on current cloud technologies

·         In depth Knowledge on numerous tools used in Data Centre management

·         Knowledge on Cloud computing tools and differentiators between various vendor products

·         Hands on Knowledge on Data Centre migrations (Application & Infra)

Other Skills Required

·         Ability to provide technical and commercial solutions to customer business problems.

·         Excellent communication skills to propose, defend, deploy solutions on IT cloud Space

·         Liaison skills to persuade customers

·         ITSM Implementation, consulting skills
