Mandatory Skills: DOT NET, ActiveX

 

Description:

·         We are working on a project to implement full-disk encryption for our agency sales representatives.

·         One deliverable for this project is to be able to monitor/report on the status of each agent's computer (encrypted or not encrypted) as they log into our agent portal.

·         Mutual engineers have been able to write a short, rudimentary .net script that, when executed from a command prompt checks the user's hard drive for two specific encryption options.

·         This piece of .net code needs to be implemented in an ActiveX module that will be installed when the agent comes to our portal. 

·         We have many .net (VB & C#) resources, but we do not have anyone with experience of ActiveX controls. This is where we need some help.

·         We are looking for a resource to help design, implement & document the ActiveX control as well as provide any cross-training needed to support the tool to an assigned resource.

·         While the script works today, We would expect the final solution to meet best practices for design and coding standards.

·         The resource will coordinate closely with our application developer as well as the portal security analyst to design the appropriate changes to our agent portal.
