This is Upender working with Systel Inc, My mail is regarding a job opportunity with one of our client @ Bay Area, CA  for a 6  months contract. Below is the job description please go through it and let me know any consultants available with you.

 

Position: Oracle Manufacturing Functional Lead

Location: Bay Area, CA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Required Skills:

 

-    Create functional design documents from Business requirements and engineer the solution & implement it using Oracle E-Business Suite.

-    Work closely with the cross functional teams (IT team and other internal business groups) to understand the downstream/upstream impacts during the design process

-    Customize and configure Oracle Application modules as needed for oracle Manufacturing modules Inventory /Bill Of Material / Work In Progress / Shop floor Management / Inventory Planning.

-    Participate in system-level tests responsible for comparing actual results with expected results

-    Preparing data interface functional specifications and may use SQL programs to debug the issues

-    Prepare functional documentation as part of the SDLC process

-    Prepare and Review test plans & test scripts Competencies:

-    Must have strong functional knowledge of the Oracle Application modules for Discreet Manufacturing business processes.

-    Must possess strong skills in debugging the issues related to the oracle standard functionalities in Oracle Manufacturing modules

-    Ability to work in a global cross-functional environment partnering with internal customers which helps in designing the right solution

-    Ability to plan and execute tasks in a structured manner

-    Able to work, collaborate and contribute in a team environment

-    Ability to work with minimal supervision

-    Proficient in using the MS excel and other tools that are used to present the data to the user community Experience:

-    Must have experience preparing functional design documents and developing test cases

-    Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Functional/Business analyst working with the Oracle EBS, preferably in Oracle R12 EBS with very strong understanding on manufacturing Modules.

-    Knowledge of SDLC processes and tools

-    Oracle certification is a plus
