Position           : Oracle DBA Architect/Lead

Location           : Burlington, Vermont

Duration           : 6 Months +

 

Description:

 

·         Experienced Oracle DBA who has experience with large (multi-terabyte) PeopleSoft databases on Oracle 11g on Windows 2008R2.   

·         Need to be able to diagnose and tune performance issues, primarily at the database level and also from the application. 

·         Need to be an excellent SQL coder so that they can analyze explain plans and recommend/implement fixes for inefficient SQL. 

·         Have experience with Demantra databases – Desired, Not mandatory 

·         Needs to have a thorough understanding of Data Guard and be able to use Grid Control, including alerting, jobs and database management. 

·         Should understand different ways of patching Oracle databases. 

·         Should have experience with refreshing test environments.
