Position: Java Developer & Lead

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: Longterm Contract

 

Required Skills:

 

• 7+ years of software development experience with Java/J2EE solutions.

• Strong understanding and practical experience with design patterns

• Extensive experience in object oriented design and development

• Experienced in code quality and test-driven software development practices

• Ability to take high-level instruction and lead independently

• Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.

• Ability to solve business problems through creative and forward-looking solutions.

•  Experience with multiple web services implementation  including REST, SOAP.

• Experience with ORM framework Hibernate.

• Experience with build tool Maven

• Experience in creation and execution of automated test suites using industry standard test frameworks like JUnit and mock objects

• Intellij IDEA IDE

• Modern SCM tooling (Git)

• Spring 3.0 (core, IOC, transactions, aspects)

• Confident in writing SQL.

•Validate coding standard, code review, knowledge of version control and code releasing.

•Should be able to estimate the task and manage deliverables.

•Good communication skills.

 

Optional Skills Preferred:

 

• Experience with multiple web 2.0 technologies

• JavaScript / AJAX experience

• Experience with JSON

•Websphere Portal.

•Drools – Rules Engine
