Position: Oracle EBS Project Manager/Solution Manager
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: 6 Months +
 
Description:
 
•    Partners with Business IT, business leaders, software vendors for ePedigree /serialization program to manages overall technical design, development, architecture, deployment and integration of L4 EPCIS applications, L1/L2(Packaging applications) with Oracle ERP. As Needed Ensure appropriate integration between L4 EPCIS and required external entities (distributors/3PL's, MoH and various government bodies).
•    Manages team of employees and consulting resources and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the assigned function. Prepares system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules. Prepares and presents project proposals to management and business partner departments for assigned area.
•    Develops subject matter expertise in overall ePedigree/serialization solution and its integration with rest of ERP ecosystem to drive ongoing enhancements, upgrades and integration effort.
•    Partners with business leads, business IT on the broader economic impact of proposed application solutions, working with the vendors, business teams and other IT colleagues as appropriate to develop a solution that strikes an optimal balance between performance, client service, and cost management.
•    Acts as a key IT solution advisor to project teams working on systems/applications of the most complex nature (typically crossing functional/agency lines), providing unique insights, new research and novel approaches; ensures applications/systems fully meet business needs and all variables have been considered.
•    Reviews the work performed across teams to identify commonalities and possible integration; shares learned best practices with others; leads teams to create best practices.
•    Leads feasibility analysis for new systems/applications, including understanding implications for the current and future architecture.
•    Serves as IT solution leader and/or project manager on small sized projects or large sized projects. This includes leading or contributing to the requirements analysis, technical design, architecture, tracking and resolving technical issues, ensure unit tests are conducted and documented and guiding technical resources throughout the project.
•    Serves as a technical resource on projects that involve multiple technologies, great operational or implementation risks, complex business functionality, and broad implications for the business and/or the IT architecture.
•    Provides direction and technical guidance on the most complex coding/ development, configuration and implementation efforts, enhancing the expertise of IT colleagues.
•    Ensures technical support (AMS) for production issue resolution meets business needs, making changes to process as needed.  Maintains awareness of projects or changes to other systems that may affect their applications/systems, and ensures there is no degradation of service. 
•    Partner with Training & Change Management lead to support a strategy for consistent and timely communication related to EPCIS and its adoption with its user-base and external customers
 
 
Key Competencies required:
 
•    Must have 10+ years of superior organization, planning, Implementation, Oracle ERP Solution Design, Delivery,    Architecture, Integration, Process Optimization and project management skills. Deep experience with the various Oracle modules (Shipping, Order Management, Warehouse Management, Distribution, Manufacturing,  Inventory Management etc) is a must.
•    Must have managed global deployment and IT operations at global company encompassing onshore and offshore vendors.
•    Sound technology knowledge to be able to lead and drive complex design and architecture for functional solution spanning across multiple vendors and systems across multiple IT systems.
•    Strong Development Tools experience such as : PL/SQL, Java, and JSP, JDeveloper, .Net,  Developer 6i/9i, Forms 6i/9i, Reports 6i/9i, Workflow Builder, Oracle Application development Framework and Forms Personalization's
•    Solid Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA and BPEL
•    Preference will be given to candidate having demonstrated implementation experience of pharmaceutical industry serialization, packaging and warehouse processes, and ePedigree.
•    Exposure to any of EPCIS ( Axway, Oracle, Tracelink etc.) is highly desirable.
•    Demonstrated experience of managing, developing and mentoring people
•    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills
•    Strategic mindset with strong analytical foundation
•    Ability to drive continuous improvement across team
•    Ability to facilitate and resolve conflicts at both the senior and staff level
•    Ability to operate in a cross-functional / matrix environment
•    Ability to work directly with business partners and end users to generate consensus around technical directions.
•    Ability to analyze complex business problems and evaluate solutions
•    Ability to translate complex technical issue into business terms.
•    Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
•    Must think ahead strategically and must be able to weigh and decide between implementing new oracle functionality and custom development.
•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
•    Biopharmaceutical experience is a plus.
