Position: Oracle developer with PL/SQL
Location: RTP, NC
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Description:

As a Software Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible for the development of the next generation bug tracking system at CLIENT and in migrating the existing data to Oracle. You will work closely with other engineers on the project assisting with both design and implementation.
You will have direct influence on the design and decisions related to the project.

Skill Requirements:

Oracle 10i/11g experience (5+ years)
Mission critical / high availability database application experience
Strong performance tuning/query optimization
Adept with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and Oracle BI
PL/SQL knowledge
Stored Procedures using PL/SQL
ER, UML diagrams
CPAN, modules, and packages
DBI experience with Oracle
Solaris/Linux/Apache platform knowledge
Ability to document (including but not limited to architecture & design documents) and train other team members

Mandate Skills:

Oracle application programming – atleast 5 years of experience
Oracle 10i/11g experience (5+ years)
Mission critical / high availability database application experience
Strong performance tuning/query optimization
Experience working with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and Oracle BI
PL/SQL working knowledge
Build Stored Procedures using PL/SQL
ER, UML diagrams
Programming in Oracle apps,
Knowledge of Relational DBMS
Unix/Linux working knowledge
Stored Procedures, SQL
