Position: Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: 3-4 Months

 

Description:

 

Oracle Functional Consultant needed to provide functional expertise for day to day support for 75 users at client Locations.  The resource will work on a team with a manager, DBA, and technical resource.

This position will include the following tasks:

 

a.       Trouble shooting production problems through resolution

b.      Interface with users  on a day to day basis as issues arise

c.       Train users on specific functionality as required

d.      Recommending solutions such as configuration changes, patches or bug fixes, or business process changes

e.      Raising and monitoring SR's with Oracle

f.        Evaluating/testing application patches, bug fixes, or development work

g.       Managing and executing small projects as needed

h.      Gather and document business/functional requirements

 

Requirements:

 

·         Experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Oracle R12 Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger, ideally in an international business environment with multiple ledgers

·         Clear and Confident Communication Skills

·         Experience working with Oracle Support, from opening tickets through issue resolution

·         Understanding of compliance and SOX controls as they relate to application management

·         Ability to work independently in a complex, fast-paced environment as a team player

·         Strong Customer Service Skills.
