This is Upender working with Systel Inc, My mail is regarding a job opportunity with one of our client @ Chandler, AZ for a 6 month contract. Below is the job description please go through it and let me know your interest.

 

Position: Linux Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ

Duration: 6 Months +

 

- This individual will bridge the gap between offshore and onsite.

- We basically need a Linux Platform skill sets having experience in kernel customization, driver development.

 

Primary Skills: Linux kernel customization.

 

- If a candidate has experience in FFMPEG or Video Codecs or Graphics it will be an added advantage and not a mandate.

 

Required Skills:

 

-          Linux kernel development ability to troubleshoot kernel, driver and/or overall base sw platform issues.

-          Familiarity with FFMPEG

-          Familiarity fedora/UBUNTU DISTROS, packaging, initscripts, packaging

-          Experience working with open source networking/storage/security packages

-          Experience integrating kernel/user components into LINUX DISTROS

-          Experience with GIT/SVN version control systems .

-          Rendering ffmpeg development familiarity with boot firmwares, power management

-          Experience programming in c/c++, shell scripting

-          Excellent interpersonal/communication skills understanding of video codecs, graphics drivers/video
