Position: Network Systems Engineer
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills:

 

- B.S. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum 5 years of related Network Engineering experience.
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP OR CCIE certifications
- Experience in core design or implementation activity of network, routing technologies etc
- Experience designing, installing, and troubleshooting an Enterprise network, including data, voice, and video.
- Experience with Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, etc). TCP/IP addressing/subnetting knowledge.
- Experience with LAN switching concepts (Spanning tree, 802.1q, ISL, VTP, bridging concepts, etc.).
- Advanced TCP/IP addressing/subnetting knowledge.
- Detailed knowledge of Cisco router and switch configurations.
- Experience with carrier telecommunications technologies such as T1/E1, copper and fiber interfaces
- Knowledge of radio systems, HF, VHF, and UHF would be an advantage
