QA tester for data conversion & integration team

 

Experience:
Minimum 6-7 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on backend testing experience

 

 
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

 

Skills
a) Minimum 6-7 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on backend testing experience
b) Strong QA Testing background, experience in testing projects dealing with large amount of data/data migration projects
c) Extensive experience with Oracle PL/SQL, experience with defect tracking tools – specifically HP QC
d) Excellent verbal & written communication skills
e) Experience in broadcast sales & traffic domain is preferable

 

 

 

Desired: Responsibilities
a) Understand business & technical data conversion & integration requirements
b) Define test plan & strategy covering end-to-end scenarios for data completeness, data accuracy, functional scenarios & integration workflows c)

 

Maintain up-to-date test documentation & artifacts d) Hands-on Testing, validation & QA sign-off for data conversions and multiple existing and new integrations for CI project e) Work closely with system analysts, development leads & rest of CI team to understand requirements and manage testing f) Manage an offshore testing team
