Position           : Web Designer – User Interface ( not a developer)

Location           : Cary, NC

Duration           : 6 Months

 

Description:

 

This position involves custom web development throughout the entire project life cycle. The right individual for this role will be a motivated and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges using his/her own leadership and programming skills and takes extreme pride in their work.

 

·         Minimum 4 Years' Experience in developing websites and/or web applications.

·         Front-end and some back-end development experience.

·         Knowledge of HTML 5 and dynamic web pages

·         Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices.

·         Placement and layout of web site pages given client provided content.

·         Development of robust and user-friendly web pages.

·         Application/Framework design as needed.

·         Specifications/Requirements gathering as needed.

·         Routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications.

·         Practical experience in development of

o    HTML, JavaScript

o    CSS, graphics creation with Photoshop.

o    Illustrator, (Adobe Creative Suite)

o    Multimedia creation with Flash

o    ActionScript, (Macromedia Studio).

·         Practical exposure and/or experience with all of the following:

o    ASP

o    PHP

o    Javascript (MUST)

o    HTML (MUST)

o    CSS (MUST)

o    XML (MUST)
