Position: QA Lead with SFDC

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Description: 

 

Job Summary:  Text Execution Lead for SFDC (salesforce.com) QA Team

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

·         Day-to-day management of SFDC (salesforce.com) test planning and execution activities

o   Team includes about 20 testers; some located on-shore and others off-shore

o   Ensure team following test processes and utilizing tools as appropriate

·         Attend Agile scrum stand-ups and provide guidance around testing

·         Facilitate discussions with Development to triage and resolve defects identified during testing

·         Develop and present Test Metrics and Status to impacted teams and management

·         Assist in interviewing, on-boarding, and training new test resources

·         Identify test-related issues and risks; recommend thoughtful mitigation plans

·         Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs

 

Experience and Skills:

·         Several years of experience managing QA teams, including functional, performance, and automated testing, utilizing both SDLC/Waterfall and Agile development methodologies

·         Experience managing QA activities for SFDC

·         Experience with HP QTP Test Automation tool

·         Excellent business communication skills, from individual contributors to senior management

·         Knowledge of Lead-to-Opportunity business processes within a high-tech business environment

·         Strong problem assessment and resolution skills

·         Ability to work independently.
