Note: We need candidates with DB2+Unix/SQL/UDB background and not Mainframe.

 

Must of skill: DB2+Unix Developer

 

Job Description:

·         Provide strong technical leadership and expertise in database design, implementation and maintenance phases.

·         Design and develop new database systems, working closely with a team of with DB2 DBA.

·         Create and manage DB2 packages, triggers, and stored procedures, views, SQL transactions

·         Should know Ingest utility to load DB2 tables from files or pipes.

·         Should understand supports serial, DPF, and pureScale environments, including HADR using Ingest.

·         Should be able Monitor the progress of the ingest operations using new ingest monitoring commands or existing monitor routines.

·         This individual should have strong understanding of relational databases, UNIX, Data Warehousing concepts.
