Position: Oracle Financial Functional Consultant
Location: Princeton, NJ
Duration: 3-4 Months

 

Description:

 

Oracle Functional Consultant needed to provide functional expertise for day to day support for 75 users at client Locations.  The resource will work on a team with a manager, DBA, and technical resource.
This position will include the following tasks:

 

• Trouble shooting production problems through resolution
• Interface with users  on a day to day basis as issues arise
• Train users on specific functionality as required
• Recommending solutions such as configuration changes, patches or bug fixes, or business process changes
• Raising and monitoring SR's with Oracle
• Evaluating/testing application patches, bug fixes, or development work
• Managing and executing small projects as needed
• Gather and document business/functional requirements

 

Required Skills :

 

• Experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Oracle R12 Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger, ideally in an international business environment with multiple ledgers
• Clear and Confident Communication Skills
• Experience working with Oracle Support, from opening tickets through issue resolution
• Understanding of compliance and SOX controls as they relate to application management
• Ability to work independently in a complex, fast-paced environment as a team player
• Strong Customer Service Skills
