"Mid-level (UNIX/Linux, Windows, Networking with SQL and AS400 experience)"

 

Job Description:

• Performing environment and data readiness tests
• Providing environment and data troubleshooting and resolution support to various onshore and offshore test teams.
• Meeting with internal customers to gather test environment requirements.
• Conducting environment gap analysis between production and test environments
• Identifying and communicating risks and issues

Technical and Soft skill Requirements:

• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong Knowledge of Software Life Cycle.
• Unix :- Shell Scripting, Strong knowledge and hands on experience of Unix commands and debugging ability.
• Networking: - Familiar with TCP/IP, FTP, SCP, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP, Telnet, knowledge of different ports and communications between various network elements.
• Database: - Hands on experience with SQL queries, Oracle, and DB2 exposure.
•  AS400:- Hands on Experience of AS400 basic commands, Knowledge of libraries within AS400 and debugging skills, verifying the connectivity between different applications within AS400.
• Domain knowledge:- Retail knowledge is must (Preferably Point Of Sale)
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong Knowledge of Software Life Cycle.
• Hardware and software architecture experience is a plus.
