Role: SAS Administrator
Location: St Louis , MO
Duration: 8-12 Months

 

Description:
Role:- Leads major projects and creates the development and delivery of quality software solutions in a timely and cost effective manner. Researches alternative technical solutions for changing business needs and SAS customer base. Responsible for assuring the daily activities of the team meet the requirements of SLA's. Provides support for SAS customers by trouble shooting problems with SAS applications/ environment and providing technical solutions. Provides support of SAS applications software by providing software upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to monitor and improve performance

 

 
MUST HAVE 6+ years' experience in SAS Administration using BI Architecture, META DATA Server, Applying patches and upgrades and delivering secure solutions in Financial Services Sector is preferred.
MUST HAVE an extensive SAS coding background
Expert with SAS Platform/Grid Administration 9.x Architecture
Expert with BASE SAS Programming (SAS Macro Language, SAS ODS, Proc Report, Proc Tabulate, SAS Client tools (i.e. WRS, IDP, EG, etc.).
Experience with Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner client tools, SAS Personal login Manager.
Experience with Data Warehouse and relational data modeling design
Extremely detail-oriented and able to follow clear methodologies for troubleshooting and development.
Ability to support and work within standard software development life cycle practices including Agile Unified Process or extreme programming.
Excellent SQL skills and demonstrate ability to write complex SQL for purposes of analyzing data and/or evaluating how information needs might be translated into backend database structures.
Preferred Unix scripting and security knowledge
Extensive understanding of and experience with Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies. 8 plus years of experience with software engineering methodologies is highly desirable.
Proven track record in selection and implementation of methodologies with focus on Lean methodology, delivery of High Efficiency Solutions leading to productivity gains is required.
Demonstrate MC Core Competencies.
Experience in vendor relationship management, vendor selection, RFI/RFP process, SOW is highly desired.
Proven ability to embody MC Leadership Principles.
Proven capacity to lead and influence matrix based project team members and work as a member of a diverse and geographically distributed team.
Experience in operations environment is highly desirable.
