Job Roles / Responsibilities:    

  • Technical expertise combined with drive and communication skills to help establish a Java development practice and an application integration platform for Group IT.
  • Outstanding expertise in Java Enterprise software development and Enterprise Application Integration using Spring and Spring Integration.
  • Experience with the JBoss platform and MS SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration) and different software development methodologies (agile, waterfall).
  • Analytical thinker and hands-on problem solver who excels at getting new team members up to speed.
  • Result driven mindset and ability to communicate with people at all management levels.
  • Experience using Maven and the Atlassian tool suite a plus.
