Job  Title: UI Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 Months

 

 
Project Requirements:
HTML
CSS
JavaScript
JQuery

 

Basic Requirements:
4+ years experience with server side object oriented (OO) programming (JAVA or .NET [C#])
Expert level skills in HTML 4/CSS 2/jQuery
Uses jQuery UI/jQuery Tools or other major jQuery plugins
Hands on experience with DOM, W3C Standards, Browser Standards
AJAX and JSON against web services (SOAP/RESTful)
Client side debugging using Firebug, Chrome Web Developer, Fiddler, and etc.
Basic image manipulation in Photoshop/Illustrator
An eye for design, balance, and color
UX experience and ability to defend designs
Good communication skills
Ability to collaborate in a team
Someone who takes initiative instead of waiting for work to be assigned.
Someone who participates in discussions and who isn't afraid to have and state opinions.

 

Nice to have:
Portfolio of any design / external website work
Google API experience (GWT, Google Maps, Google Earth)
HTML5/CSS3 real world experience (Local Storage/Web Sockets)
UI Patterns (Mobile First, Responsive Web Design)
Mobile Frameworks (Titanium, PhoneGap, Sencha)
