Role: Lead QA with Ruby Script Exp. (Do Not Send Resumes without Ruby)

Location: SEATTLE, WA

Duration: Long Term

 

 

Essential:

·         A  B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience

·         7+years testing experience with at least 4 years as a Senior Test or Test Lead

·         Must have created automation for Linux and Windows based applications and be confident in describing an automation strategy in either operating system

·         Agile SCRUM experience

·         Experience on at least 3 automation projects

·         Capable of running daily triage and interfacing with PM & Dev Leads

·         Senior Tester with previous ownership of a major software component or many medium components

·         Experience working with offshore resources

·         3+ years of practical engineering experience testing Java and C/C++ based components in a Linux environment.

·         Strong debugging and problem solving skills

·         Strong knowledge of testing methodologies

·         2+ years experience in writing scripts in PERL/Python

·         Understanding technical specifications and log file analysis.

·         Strong verbal, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

·         Experience interfacing with customers on previous projects

·         Able to successfully communicate technical concepts and information to internal staff and peers  – you have an opinion and are capable of getting across your ideas in a respectful and meaningful way

 

Desirable

·         Previous experience with agile development methodologies.

·         3+ years experience with Joint, TestNG or similar build and unit testing frameworks

·         Agile LEAN experience

·         Previous experience with ruby script development.

·         Working knowledge of HP Quality Center.

·         Previous experience with setting up or performing testing on complex test platforms.

·         Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
