Position: System Administrator(Solaris & Linux)
Location: San Rafael, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Client is looking for consultants who has both Solaris and Linux experience with Clusters, VMs and Database configurations
Required Skills :
- User Administration in Solaris 9, 10, Redhat 5.x, 6.x
- Package and Patch Administration in Solaris 9,10, Redhat 5.x, 6.x
- Network Management in Solaris 9,10, Redhat 5.x, 6.x
- Disk Based Operations in Solaris 9,10
- LVM configuration in Redhat 5.x, 6.x
- Performance Data Tuning and Troubleshooting in Solaris 9,10, Redhat 5.x, 6.x
- Thorough Knowledge of Redhat Cluster suite
- Complete Experience with Virtual Containers of Solaris 10
- Complete Understanding and hands on experiece with SVM, LVM
- Should have worked with process oriented projects earlier
- Working knowledge of Apache on Linux servers
- Working knowledge in ESX environment to manage Linux VMs
- Good Knowledge in Redhat kickstart installation.
- Good working knowledge in Scripting bash/perl
- Hands on experience with ticketing system
- Value Adds in work environment
- Customization based on Client expectations
- Good Communication skills
