Position: Argus Technical Analyst
Location: Rahway or Springfield, NJ
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities - This role will be the Lead Technical Analyst for interfacing with the Monitoring Shared Services group and Oracle teams to ensure that a strategy for Argus application monitoring is planned and executed.
This Technical Analyst will be leading the analysis of enterprise application monitoring needs for Argus. During this deployment, Argus suite will be rolling out and creating multiple interfaces to other Client's enterprise applications. This Technical Analyst will identify all logs, server and database processes, connection points (interfaces) and ancillary components that will require monitoring. The Technical Analyst will then work with the Client's Monitoring shared services group to identify what can be provided out of box, followed by a strategy to bridge the gap. Additionally, this analyst will author the resulting monitoring testing plan.
Technical Skills - Skills: Windows 2003/2008, Strong PL/SQL, experience with Oracle 11g, past experience with configuring Application Monitoring for Enterprise applications, Technical Documentation IQ/OQ documents, Architecture diagrams (Visio), Strong Communications skills.
