Position: Software Engineer (Platform)

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 months plus

Total Openings: 4

 

Required Skills :

 

-    As a member of Software Development organization, the candidate will work on software design and implementation for leading edge high-performance data networking products. Candidate should have following skills & experience:

-    3+ years in similar software development for high end networking solutions based on Ethernet technologies

-    Experience in embedded software development.

-    Strong programming using C/C++ in Linux environments with high end CPUs and Network Processors with very high standards for quality and documentation

-    Good understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 IP networking protocols such as STP, MSTP, LACP, LLDP, OSPF, ISIS, Multicast protocols

-    Engineering graduate with more than 3 years of relevant experience

-    Engineer will be based out of San Jose and will need to interact directly with customer. Excellent communication skills required
