Required Skills:
· 8 years experience.
· Lead Cognos 10 technical upgrade project
· Must have lead at least TWO Cognos 8.4 to Cognos 10 upgrade projects as team lead / technical architect.
· Must be well versed with implementation of new modules of Cognos 10
· Must be well versed working with IBM Cognos support team to resolve any technical upgrade issues
· Must be able to manage multiple tasks in parallel
Main Tasks/Responsibilities
· This individual will be responsible for Cognos 10 upgrade project.
· Develop a detailed Cognos 10 upgrade plan and estimate required offshore resources to complete the project
· Develop communication plan, weekly status reports and facilitate status update meetings with core team
· Ensure project milestones are met and raise any risks & issues to management
· Manage offshore resources and assign tasks to them (as applicable), seek status updates and ensures project tasks are on schedule
